Credentials
Not only did Dr. Tilghman graduate 2nd in his class at the University of Maryland’s Dental School and receive many other
academic honors, he also completed his 3 year Orthodontic residency and received a Masters degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Tilghman maintains membership in the following professional associations: American
Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association and the Eastern Shore Dental Society.
The Staff of Dr. Tilghman boasts similarly impressive credentials and has proudly served the practice for many years. Our staff is
comprised of Orthodontic Assistants, a Hygienist, a Laboratory Technician, a Treatment Coordinator and an Office Administrator.
Treatment Options
Orthodontics has changed dramatically in the past few years. We utilize products that are both effective and innovative to complete your treatment in the most efficient and comfortable manner possible. In addition to the traditional metal brackets, we also offer ceramic, tooth-colored brackets with clear wires, invisible “aligners” (removable trays) and lingual brackets which are placed on the back side of the teeth. These options will allow you to receive superior treatment with a look that you are most comfortable with.Facilities
The offices in Salisbury and Berlin were built to reflect Dr. Tilghman’s professionalism and the investment that he makes in the care of all of his patients. State-of-the-art sterilization systems and digital x-ray machines are utilized in both locations. Warm and welcoming, the offices provide private consult areas, free Wi-Fi equipped internet café, flat screen TV’s and even movie theatres showing family-friendly movies for our patients’ enjoyment.
