About Dr. Tilghman

Dr. Tilghman earned his Bachelor of Science degree at James Madison University and attended dental school at the University of Maryland. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) in 1996, graduated 2nd in his class and received many academic honors. Accepted into the University of Maryland's orthodontic program, he completed his Orthodontic Residency and earned a Masters of Science in Oral Biology in 1999. Dr. Tilghman is board certified by the American Association of Orthodontists. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, and the Eastern Shore Dental Society.

Dr. Tilghman and his wife, Liz, have three children, John, Joey and Rachel.
